***WSSA Annual Conference Rescheduled***
Please see note below from Sheriff Dave Brown:
All,
The Executive Board of WSSA recently made the decision to reschedule the 2021 conference and trade show. As most of you are aware, we typically hold the conference the first full week of March. With the uncertainty of the mandates set forth by the Governor of Nevada coupled with the possibility of a nationwide mask mandate being put in place by President-Elect Biden once he takes office, there are too many variables that could impact the success and comfort of the conference as we all know it.
The Board has worked with the Peppermill to reschedule the conference for the week of May 16 through May 20, 2021.
We are aware that many of you had already already registered and made room reservations. It is possible you are receiving cancellation notices from the Peppermill.
We are hopeful this new date will prove to work for all of you and that you can reschedule to join us in Reno.
It can be said that we are all yearning for an opportunity to get together and see things return to normal.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the change of date, please contact me, Jim Pond or Tonia Kapke.
On behalf of WSSA President Fred Lamphere and our entire organization I want to wish you all the very best of this Christmas Season!
